Music has been a part of the True Campaign from the beginning. Through song and lyric you can be inspired and reminded of who you are and where your true identity, beauty and impact come from. The following artists have communicated that they believe in what the True Campaign is doing and have offered their music as an encouragement to you. JJ Heller

Wes Pickering

Listen to Wes Pickering's music and James Taylor and David Wilcox will immediately come to mind. But we don't have his music here just because it's great stuff but also because he really believes in the True Campaign. When describing his song Little Darling he writes, "This is a song was written for a friend who recently went through rehab for a severe eating disorder. This song is a prayer for my friend." Enjoy and be encouraged.

Waterdeep

Waterdeep may be one of the most influential independent groups around. From playing small venues to writing songs recorded by Third Day (You Are So Good to Me), Don and Lori Chaffer create a honest and unique sound. Lori describes Life of the Party as a song about "coming out of your protective shell" and "heartily living life." Randall Goodgame

Though you may not know Randall Goodgame's name, you have likely heard his music as he has garnered acclaim as a songwriter for the folk group Caedmon’s Call. The song Heaven Waits speaks of finding hope in troubled times and is offered to you free. Thank you Randall!

Caedmon's Call

Caedmon's Call has always shunned pretense and embraced authentic truth and beauty, two values of the True Campaign. The song Piece of Glass describes one woman's battle with an eating disorder and how the mirror is an unreliable authority when it comes to our identity.

A Rotterdam November

A Rotterdam November sees each person as having “the opportunity to be reconstructed with a brand new heart." Fight is a song challenging us to fight against this world telling us to live for ourselves and try to convince people that we are alright and have it together.

Katie Herzig

Katie Herzig has one of those unique voices that gets her music featured on shows like E.R., Smallville and Grey's Anatomy. The song I Hurt Too contains the words of a friend who can sympathize with your struggles, and is willing to help. This is the kind of encouragement we hope the True Campaign offers to you.

The Sonflowerz

The Sonflowerz, Elissa and Becca Leander, were recently nominated as Worship Leader Magazine’s “Breakout Artist of the Year”. The song More Than I Think I Am "has been writing itself my whole life,” says Elissa, “Being a girl, I know the kind of pressure that is on us to look a certain way can be overwhelming. But growing up, I remember my parents and grandparents telling me, ‘You don’t have to be like the models and pictures you see all over the place.’ That instilled a foundation in me to believe what God says about me. Andrew Osenga

Andrew Osenga is a singer/songwriter who combines folk and progressive rock with thoughtful, authentic lyrics. In addition to his own music he is a part of the band Caedmon's Call. The song Swing Wide the Glimmering Gates speaks to our heart's desire to grow into maturity and experience the freedom of becoming who God made us to be. Lanae' Hale

Lanae' Hale is a refreshingly honest musician and deep thinker. She writes in her blog that the song Spring Again address failure and our need for renewal. "I have found that sometimes when a failure dive takes place, there is not an immediate revival...We begin to grow cold and numb to life and love. Alli Rogers

Alli Rogers' music has a smooth, relaxing feel to it, while at the same time inviting you to think and live deeply. The song I Caught Sight speaks to our need to be aware of God's presence in our lives... and that it can happen through the small things that we miss when we feel hopeless and overwhelmed. Andy Gullahorn

Andy Gullahorn has worked with musicians such as Chris Tomlin, Kim Hill and his wife, Jill Phillips (see above). About the song, Alright Here he says, "This was my attempt at telling my wife that she didn't need to be a "SuperMom." We need more men like this, accepting their wives just as they are.

Joy Whitlock

Martin Drouget

Vanessa Gamble

Vanessa, along with her husband Jeremiah, have a passion for creating and performing original works together through their theater company, Theater for the Thirsty. About the song Dress Me In Your Name Vanessa writes, "I am fascinated by Exodus 33 and 34 when God passes by Moses revealing His glory and proclaiming His Name...I wondered what it would be like to wear that Name...Perhaps life would be different if I did."
